A Chartered Engineer with a Master’s degree in Offshore Technology specializing in Subsea Engineering. Eamon has over 30 years’ experience in the marine industry across many sectors including: project engineering; hydrographic surveying; subsea installation works; operations management & supervision; client representation for offshore/onshore operations. He has worked for oil & gas industry majors where his clients include North Sea EPC contractors Technip AS and Subsea7 with whom he worked extensively in both British and Norwegian sectors providing engineering consultancy services on subsea hardware installation, inspection, repair and maintenance and decommissioning projects. Eamon founded SolarMarine Energy Ltd in 2016 to design and develop innovative structures and solutions for Floating Solar energy. His combined experience and knowledge of civil engineering construction, oil & gas and marine renewable energy projects provides him with a unique insight for the transfer of technologies across to the floating solar industry.
