Having started as an Associate M&A Energy with Lehman Brothers in New York in 2001, Dana’s sole focus over the past nearly 20 years has been in Energy, Infrastructure and Renewable Energy Technologies with Lehman Brothers, McKinsey & Co.’s Petroleum Practice (serving Royal Dutch / Shell in New York, London, Amsterdam and Hamburg), UBS M&A Energy and ABN Amro M&A Energy, where she served as a senior Corporate Director and Head of Merger & Acquisitions Energy, focusing primarily on blue chip SWFs, NOCs and other SOEs.
As a Corporate Director, heading M&A Energy at ABN Amro, Dana span-off a part of her M&A Energy team and founded a vehicle of LBC Energy group on the back of three client mandates: an E&P buy-side by KUFPEC, a strategic options mandate for Itochu in Solar Power in South Europe and a sell-side for an Oslo-listed Independent with assets in North America. Since 2010, Dana’s focus in the context of Energy Transition, has been on both Oil & Gas and Renewables including Hydrogen, CCUS and associated Infrastructure.
Between New York and London, Dana’s truly and distinctly Global cross-border experiences include BP’s global petrochemical divestitures in the USA, UK and Europe, Royal Dutch / Shell’s strategic actions in Downstream in Continental Europe, Novatek, Rosneft and KMG E&P IPOs on New York and London Stock Exchanges, Solar Energy mandate for Itochu, a number of mandates for KPC (KUFPEC) as a repeat client with LBC Energy, CIC and Polygroup in E&P and FPSO markets, E&P buyside on the UK CS for EDF (Électricité de France), various mandates for Bharat Petroleum in the UK Southern Gas Basin (sell-side), Deep-water Offshore West Africa and Deep-water Offshore Brazil (strategic options), as well as Hydrogen mandates for Asian NOCs and European Independents since 2015, and other M&A, Restructuring and Capital Markets deals.Dana’s current mandates focus on Hydrogen Infrastructure and Technologies in the United States, EMEA and Asia.
In addition to her principal and management responsibilities with LBC Energy, Dana also serves as the founder of Nikola Tesla LLC in the United States and a Trustee of the Nikola Tesla Foundation. Dana’s other affiliations include: Founder Freeman of the Guild of Entrepreneurs of the City of London and the Executive Advisory Committee of William E. Simon School, New York City, NY and Rochester, NY.
